Why understanding physics and the general rules of the universe so important in doing philosophy?
There is important to understand and know physics to support the beliefs of philosophy. Physics is the factual explanation to philosophy; this is what it helps back up some of the questions it may be generating. Physics helps in the explanation of metaphors in philosophy; for example, the example provided by the book Quantum Weirdness it used a metaphor to explain how fast an electron will travel but to explain that it start talking about if you will make a trip to Vegas and you are going really fast you will get a ticket because the radar police uses, are waves that travel and they generate how fast are you going. Now if you will ride an electron it will travel at 186,000 miles per second, it will cause trouble because the problem will be to know where is exactly the electron located. In order to explain this physics are necessary, but to explain the metaphor philosophy will be indispensable.
