Philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline. When it comes to Philosophy, it is very broad. There are tons of theories in science that are questioned in physics. Philosophy searches for the relation between the possible and the actual. Due to philosophy, that is why science exists. Working on the mind, you study the nature of the mind, which is in the brain. Stated in the book, Quantum Weirdness, they say that neurobiology explains what occurs in the brain and how people think. Physics in philosophy is important because it is how we learn about the brain. Philosophy is important because science cannot exist without philosophy. It is not science, but philosophy if a theory cannot be tested. Science provided philosophy with being able to do experiments and to prove theories. I think philosophy plays an important role in quantum theories such as mechanics.

Hello Natalie, I like how you explained what philosophy was before beginning anything else. I believe that building up your statement is very important in a subject like this because some things are just difficult to understand thus breaking it down really helps! I feel though that you could have used a bit from the videos because i watched all of them and it really helped me understand this question more. I do believe with you that science is not science if the theory cannot be tested!

Hi Natalie,
Your analysis of the relationship between philosophy and science is pretty good. Truly, philosophy is important because it provides many theories to explain many things around us. Philosophies could be true or false. Science is also important to philosophy because science provides a mechanism to test the theories proposed by various philosophers. A theory could be called science if its philosophy is scientifically proved.

Hello Natalie, I agree that your explained about philosophy relationship with physics. Philosophy that is particularly insightful, rather than a superficial philosophy, which is very useful to physics. In the study of physics, if compliance with the basic principles of philosophy, will be successful, otherwise lead to failure. In fact, physics itself is natural philosophy.

Hello Natalie,I think your analysis is pretty good, I like how you explained what philosophy was right off the back, giving us a better understanding. I agree with you because science can not exist without philosophy, After all, science is a search for truth by rational means, which is why it is important to understand the physics and the general rules of the universe in philosophy.

Hi Natalie, I agree with your points that philosophy studies the fundamentals of science. Furthermore, in your statement; due to philosophy, that is why science exists; I would say that it is correct in the context of the word science as the contextual studies of physics, being, the world, and the universe, and if we look at it from a theoretical point of view. However, from the actual physical point of view, matter represents science, which was first formed or created in a natural way, as for example our physical bodies have been created from nature matter, as it is supposed to be the case for the universe as well. Thus, science of matter was first before philosophy, as it is our existence. Nevertheless, I definitely understand your points.
