Pythagoras was born in 569 BC in Samos, Ionia and died in 475 BC and was described as the first clear mathematician. He is a really important figure in math, but people do not know much about his achievements. Also not much is known about his childhood. He was the son of Apollo and Apollo was known from a kind of poet. Pythagoras learned the value of how to save time. He made a journey to Crete right after his return from Samos so he can study the system of laws. Pythagoras also studied properties of numbers. He was so interested in the principles of mathematics, the concept of number, and the concept of a triangle or other figures. To Pythagoras, all numbers had personalities. Some numbers were either ugly or beautiful, perfect or incomplete, and male or female. Today we know Pythagoras for his famous geometry theorem.
