According to the book “The Unknowing Sage” by Dr. David Lane, Fakir Chand practiced deep meditation in the form of near death experience to be able to achieve a deeper understanding of consciousness. Fakir was most illustrated by his derived level of honesty from meditations. He used analogies and metaphors similar to those of Philosopher Socrates. Fakir in his developed theory of consciousness and honesty, intents to demonstrate the projective nature of religious visions and miracles, as a deeper understanding of one self-level of consciousness, which according to Fakir is reflected from our own belief. This level of self-consciousness interprets the correlation in honesty, dishonesty, illusion, and power, as it is apply to the sense of human behavior and beliefs and connected to religious convictions. It is stated in the book that he left a legacy to understand knowledge and honesty and how it relates to our sociological order.
