My name is Mariana, I am a Food Science and Technology major. My interests are food, gardening, playing guitar and science! I currently work for Helpful Honda doing philanthropic work and I also work as a photographer for a restaurant company. I'm looking forward to taking this class. I don't need it but I need 12 units so I thought this sounded the most interesting and rewarding class I could take this Spring for fun.

Hello everyone!
My name is Lina and this is second semester here at Mt. Sac since I've transferred from CSUF. I am currently majoring in Child Development and I am planning to be a social worker in the near future. I have a dog (Maltipoo) that I completely adore and I usually spend my time with him when I'm not working or at school. I'm looking forward to learn more about philosophy in depth this semester!

Hello, my major is in Alcohol and drug counseling. I graduated with my AS degree in alcohol and drug counseling in June 2014 with honors from Mt.Sac. I am working on my transfer units as I wait to go in to the psych tech program. I also work on campus, have been working here since 2010 in the same building.

My name is Felicia Parlato. I am a psychology major and I plan on transferring to a university (hopefully CBU) after next spring. I am also apart of the cheerleading team on campus and I am a host at Chills. This is my first time taking an online course as well as my first time taking a Philosophy class. I have heard nothing but great things about Professor Lane's course and I am excited to have a better understanding of Philosophy.

Hello, my name is Jia Wen Lin but i go by Katheryne. I am currently waiting for my court date to legally change my name to katheryne because going up i was often bullied for my name even though i was born here, i was given an asian name. I don't know why but i just did. I am an absolute animal lover and hope to become one of the greatest veterinarian out there soon enough! i am currently in the RVT program and plan to grab my license in becoming and RVT so i could work side by side with a vet while making some money and heading back to school to become a vet and achieve a minor in bio. My schooling doesn't end until i have achieved a bachelors, masters, and PHD! I am currently a full time student at PCC and MtSac in hopes of fulfilling my courses at a quicker pace putting me at 29 units currently. I hope i can learn something from this course and gain knowledge about philosophy.
