Do you think artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future?
I do not think that artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future. Artificial intelligence has helped us greatly in the past. In the Film Alan Turning, it talks about a machine called enigma. This machine was hindering the chance for an allied victory in the Second World War. Alan Turner created a machine that would decode the encrypted messages that enigma was sending out. This is an example of how we used technology and artificial intelligence to our advantage and help win the war. Having artificial intelligence play such an import role in our past, I believe it can only lead to greater advances in many different areas.
How has technology impacted your life?
I feel that technology has impacted almost everyone’s lives in some way and it has definitely greatly impacted mine. As I get older and technology gets more advance and accessible, it plays a bigger role in my life. Growing up I did not have a computer or mobile phone. It wasn’t until one of my elementary school classes where I was first introduced and used a computer. At this point in my life it is hard to even imagine going a day let alone years without technology.
