The book Cosmic Creationism by David Lane is a criticism of Ken Wilber's Theory of Evolution. In the first several pages of the book Lane openly and almost angrily scolds Ken Wilber's misunderstanding of evolutionary theory and his exaggerations. Lane strongly feels that Wilber's presentation on objections to the theory are unprofessional and unfounded. Lane knows that Wilber has no real understanding of evolutionary theory given his poor critique of Darwin's book, Origins of Species. Wilber's main problem with evolution is the lack of understanding how certain traits can possibly evolve such as a wing from a leg. Lane attempts to fill the wholes that Wilber points out. Evolutionary theory has no wholes however, Wilber just completely misrepresents what evolutionary theorist believe. In another resource in this course it is explained how these type of criticisms against evolutionary theory are unfair because most of the transitional species of animals that are the links between pre-evolutional and post-evolutional species are hard to find. There have been some fossils found, but overall digging up such fossils is like finding a needle in a haystack. Although these fossils are hard to find, it doesn't mean they don't exists.
