1) Do you think artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future?
• Artificial intelligence can or cannot be a significant problem in the future because in your video “GPI/ Global Positioning Intelligence/ Telepathy in a Digital Future” it explains a prime example such as the Google glasses and how advanced technology has evolved into our day-to-day lives, not only that but people now a days tend to not leave their homes without their androids/iPhones and if they do they tend to turn back around for it. Everything and everyone are becoming more dependent to artificial intelligent. In the book “Digital Philosophy” it states that social media such as “Myspace, Facebook, blogging, and the rest are merely crude glimpses into what will be a truly psychic sphere, based not on some spooky mystical intuitions, but real nuts and bolts hardware grounded in quantum bits of data using nothing more than O’s and I’s to discern our innermost secrets. (Lane 2) Thus in my opinion I do not think that artificial intelligence will be a significant problem in the future besides from the dependency on the technologies.
2) How has technology impacted your life?
• Technology has impacted my life in many ways such as stated in your book “Digital Philosophy” social media sites such as myspace, facebook, blogging, and etc are just the beginning of technology. I remember making my first facebook, tumblr, myspace, and instagram account nothing seemed more important to me throughout the day than constantly checking my phone for new “news feeds” it affected me in a way to which I was dependent of my phone and something I would need with me daily. The evolution of technology has grown since the beginning of internet, today we are now producing ipads, iphones, and such with programs that will basically do our things for us such as “solving a math problem, photoshop, and such” Technology did have a great impact in my life as my phone makes an excellent alarm clock because of apps I am able to use to customize my own ringtone! Sometimes apps are just my life saviors and I cannot thank the evolution of technology enough.

The Future of Information:
In this reading, it states on how everything on your ipod will begin to hold everything in the world in the future. In which Bytes are equal to “H” for “Homer Simpson” to where 0.1 bytes can mean a single yes or no decision, or 1 byte meaning one character or 10 bytes meaning one word. Moving onto Kilobytes in which are equal to “Bart’s handwriting on the chalkboard” to which 1 kilobyte represents a very short story to 500 kilobytes representing five boxes and one case card. To Megabytes that equals to the book, THE BOXCAR CHILDREN in which 1 megabyte represents a small novel to 500 Megabytes in which it represents a CD-ROM. Then comes Gigabyte in which it equals to 1000 copies of Stephen Hawking’s A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME in which 1 Gigabyte represents a paper in the bed of a pickup to 200 Gigabytes, which represents 50 Exabyte tapes. Then comes the Terabyte in which it equals to 1 million copies of James Hilton’s novel in which 1 terabyte is automated tape robot to 50 terabytes representing contents of a large mass storage system. Then come petabyte, Exabyte, zettabyte, yottabyte, and godabyte to which all represent things that simply hold everything in the world.
