1. Explain the virtual simulation theory of consciousness.
The virtual simulation theory of consciousness is the theory that our mind churn out fictitious and untrue ideas. And we could also be understood as that the human's brain is a virtual simulator, which give rise to different consciousness and ideas to show us. The consciousness and ideas provides humans with the opportunity, thus giving humans more evolutionary advantage in survival. As stated in the book, “Arguably, consciousness is a virtual simulator, apparently evolved over eons of time to enable mammals with higher brain functions to “in source” varying options of how to respond to a disparate array of problems before “out sourcing” them (hence the Darwinian advantage)." The "virtual consciousness" can happen anytime and anywhere(In the work space, or at lunchtime, or on the way to work), as short twenty-thirty minutes, or as long as an hour, which can be ever-changing and omnifarious, which cover can be traced back five thousand years ago, and fantasy since one thousand.. The virtual simulation is all the good starting point of desire, or is the spiritual pillar, or is chasing a moving target.
2. How does the brain trick us and for what benefit is it for our genetic survival?
The human's brain accepted a little amount the "stimulus" from outside, ignores and twists the receiving "stimulus" to manufacture the screen, and take to show our own. When we are awake, our brain will be manufacturing more screens. When we are in meditation, visualization, meditation, half asleep or sleep, the brain will control your progressive approach to the "real world." We must thank our brains, which anytime and anywhere to exaggerate the facts carefully. Our brains seem to make life easier to bear, and invent innumerable white lie. I believe that if we just need a bit of a positive illusion, and we can ignore their existence is really light as a feather the problem, then we really have to thank the false brain.
