1- Physics and philosophy feed off of each other for answers. While philosophy is the study of wisdom and truths in the world. While physics is about matter and motion which make up the world. The genesis of philosophy should be physics because it’s about matter which is the starting point of atoms which make up everything in the world. The studies of physics create debates and questions that philosophy tries to answer. In philosophy you have to think about how things have become the way they are like our planet and its role in the universe. Physics try to answer these questions through theories and experiments for example quantum mechanics which scientists look inside a atom to see how it works but the problem is when you try to look inside an atom it changes the movement in the atom so you can’t see the truth. So in philosophy they try to understand quantum mechanics because it involves the creating of things that make up the world around us.
2- Eliminative materialism is explained like this “if a phenomenon cannot be explained by mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, psychology and sociology then if none of these academic discipline can explain it then its ok to say that god did it”-eliminative materialism part one . Eliminative materialism is taking away previous beliefs that once could not be explained and replacing them with scientific proven facts. For example scientists believe that the universe was created during the big bang. While the religious groups believe that God did it. Another example is the Greek gods being the reasons for weather changes and light and darkness. While now scientists have proven all of those not to be done by the gods. Another example is when people try to blame ghosts are dishonoring the gods as the reason to getting sick and getting diseases.
