1. Why is the theory of evolution so important in understanding how human beings behave? A:When one would define the word evolution, one would get “development”. This is a powerful word when one wants to study the behavior of humans. This is because throughout time as a species, humans have been developing everything including behavior. Behavior is an important thing because as humans that is what we do in order to survive and live. One can read that throughout history humans have done everything in their power to stay alive and that is the reason human as a species are not extinct and that one can see more than several of species that have went into extinction. As we speak there a couple of species that are about to go into extinction like bees. Evolution in Four Minutes by Neural Surfer shows one how important evolution is when one wants to study the behavior of species. The video shows what is in our DNA, which is a clue. As when one wants to study a species, he or she should go in the past to see how a species acted to help find out how they would act in a present.

I agree development is an important part of humans' behavior and the behavior is important for one to survive; furthermore, without the development, one cannot have the best possible behavior to survive. On the other hand, I do not know if humans have done everything in their power to stay alive because what is everything humans can do in their power? All I know is that the fundamentals to survive is to have shelter, to eat, and reproduce, so why does a human need to have such complex thoughts? The human brain, over the course of history, developed from these basic instincts into who we are today, complex human beings.
